- Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport is soliciting five (5) each Cable Assemblies. Offerors will need to be Joint Certification Program certified in order to view the drawings posted in FBO as they are Arms Export Control Drawings. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 5 days of this notice. This requirement is being issued as synopsis for non-commercial items in accordance with FAR 13.1. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9. The solicitation number for this requirement is N00253-15-T-0028. It is anticipated the resultant purchase order will be firm-fixed price. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332710 and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offerors are required to provide FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Requirements and evaluation procedures will be listed in the solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments if applicable prior to the closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. It is anticipated the solicitation and drawings will be available for download on or about October 30 th, 2014. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be November 12 th, 2014. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the solicitation.
