- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to increase ceiling under Contract N00024-10-C-4212 with BMT Syntek Technologies, Inc., 2120 Washington Blvd STE 110, Arlington, VA 22204-5714, for research and development activities associated with analysis of advanced power systems and the design and demonstration of Integrated Power Systems (IPS) and electrical power distribution equipment. The scope will include increasing the engineering services and support to allow the contractor to complete the demonstration of the technologies being developed as a result of the contract awarded in response to a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The period of performance will be through 30 September 2016. Note: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, within thirty days (30) after date of publication of this synopsis. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
