- Description
- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 11, to furnish artificial limbs and related services to veterans who require them and are eligible for assistance at the Illiana HCS, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Battle Creek, and Saginaw VA Medical Centers of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 11. Sources should have the capabilities to fabricate artificial limbs in strict conformance to the prosthetic prescription that has been provided by the VA Amputee Clinic. Contractor shall have a full-time American Board Certified (ABC) or Board for Orthotist-Prosthetist Certification (BOC) on staff and the contractor's facilities shall be approved by the Facility Accreditation Program of either the ABC or BOC. This is a multiple award acquisition with multiple awards anticipated for each of the VISN Amputee Clinics located in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Detroit and Saginaw, MI and Danville, IL. Contractor shall comply with any other federal, state, and local laws applicable to the industry. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339113. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about November 17, 2014. Potential offerors MUST register at https://fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract neither does it obligate the Government to pay for any quotes or proposal preparation costs. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines prior to award. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov.
