Description

The purpose of this modification is to remove Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation N00421-15-T-0028 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase request on a full and open competitive basis, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The requirement is for annual Preventive Maintenance Service, Repair, and Calibration of Instron Test Frames. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. Preference will be given to Small Business Owners. Solicitation will close on 04 November 2014 at 0900 EST. The Government will not pay for any information received. Interested parties must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract.
