- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: PROJECT TITLE: TERRAZZO RESTORATION AT THE U.S. COAST GUARD TRAINING CENTER, CAPE MAY, NEW JERSEY Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation, supervision, and all operations necessary for Terrazzo Restoration for Shower Receptors located in Munro Hall Building #261 at the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN) Cape May, New Jersey located in Cape May County. Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply. Major work items include but are not limited to: Restore 12 existing terrazzo shower receptors in 12 different rooms. Each shower receptor is 36"x36"x4". Receptors were installed in 1990 and are stained and pitted. There are 11 cracks that extend the full side of the receptors and 1 small corner crack that will require repair. All 12 receptors will be made available for work at the same time and work shall be performed during regular business hours; thoroughly clean and otherwise prepare receptor for resurfacing; grouting cracks and voids; curing grout; finishing; cleaning and sealing; cleanup and protection. Period of Performance shall be 45 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work shall be performed in accordance with the USCG Scope of Work, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation document files become available for public download on or after 13 NOVEMBER 2014 exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If solicitation files do not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 12 DECEMBER 2014. These dates are estimated and may change. NOTE: NO TELEPHONE, FACSIMILE, E-MAIL AND/OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the FBO website to be notified when information on this project becomes available. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely to the FBO website.
