- Amendment to Solicitation Solicitation and Modification SYNOPSIS: This proposed procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 335311 size standard size of 750 employees. A supply contract to purchase a transformer to supply power to a building, three trailers and a well pump. DESCRIPTION: The transformer must have the following requirements: 1. The new transformer shall be with a minimum impendence of 5.75% and two 2.5% taps each above and below nominal voltage. 2. 225 Kva Transformer 3. 3 Phase 4. 480V ∆ input/ 208V Y output 5. NEMA 3R 6. Copper Coils and Buss Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the request for quotations bid package. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Available thru Federal Business Opportunities System The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 29 November 2014, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System To familiarize vendors with the newly released FBO system, please download the Vendor Guide found here. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, But Unclassified Documents, and require users to have a valid MPIN entered in the FBO system to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. Successful bidders must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) system. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov.By submission of a bid, a bidder acknowledges the requirement to be successfully registered in the SAM database prior to award and during performance of any contract resulting from the solicitation.
