NAICS Code: 531312 Title: 2440 Stevens Center Plaza Tenant Improvements 1.Description: The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of River Protection (ORP), plans to enter into a contract by means a small business Sole Source as other than full and open competition, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to Stevens Center Management located in Richland, WA. 2.The purpose of the contract is for Tenant Improvements to the facility located at 2440 Stevens Center, Richland, WA 99354. The Tenant Improvements will include improvements that are above the scope of lease provided improvements which may consist of but not limited to the following Tenant Improvements: Installation and removal of office items such as dry boards, bookcases, hanging pictures, assembly and installation of furniture. Office building painting, carpeting, electrical upgrades, lighting, minor carpenter work not consisting of structure or load bearing walls. Office door upgrades, bathroom renovations, additions, or upgrades, and or installation of fitness facility. 3.DOE ORP is not currently aware of any other sources having authority to perform work on the leased building. The lease agreement requires all improvements to be paid directly to the lessor. Only lessor approved vendors may make facility improvements. 4.The resultant contract will be a five year indefinite quantity contract expected to be awarded by 1 December 2014.
