- Amendment to HSHQDC-14-R-B0017, 'Solicitation 1, CSD BAA DDosD' Amendment 00005 October 30, 2014 Solicitation 1, CSD BAA Distributed Denial of Service Defense (DDoSD), HSHQDC-14-R-B0017, Section 6.1, is changed as follows: EVENT Time Due Date or Date Due Proposals Due 4:30 Eastern Time November 12, 2014 The attached amendment to HSHQDC-14-R-B0017 reflects the above change. Amendment 00004 October 7, 2014 Solicitation 1, CSD BAA Distributed Denial of Service Defense (DDoSD), HSHQDC-14-R-B0017, Section 6.1, is changed as follows: EVENT Time Due Date or Date Due Proposals Due 4:30 Eastern Time November 5, 2014 In addtion, all references to HSHQDC-14-R-B0005, Amendment 00001, included in HSHQDC-14-R-B0017 are changed to read HSHQDC-14-R-B0005, Amendment 00003. The attached amendment to HSHQDC-14-R-B0017 reflects the above changes. Amendment 00003 July 16, 2014 The attached document, DHS S&T Cyber Security Division 5-Year Broad Agency Announcement (HSHQDC-14-R-B0005), Amendment 00003, makes changes to Sections 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3 and 8.7.3.c(6) from the previous version (Amendment 00002). Amendment 00002 June 30, 2014 The attached document, DHS S&T Cyber Security Division 5-Year Broad Agency Announcement (HSHQDC-14-R-B0005), Amendment 00002, makes the following change from the previous version (Amendement 00001): Section 12.6.2 is deleted in its entirety. Amendment 00001 May 22, 2014 The attached document, DHS S&T Cyber Security Division 5-Year Broad Agency Announcement (HSHQDC-14-R-B0005), Amendment 00001, makes the following changes from the previous version: a. Cover Sheet, added "5-Year" to the title. b. Page 2, Table of Contents, Section 5.2 is removed as it is deleted from the document. c. Page 3, Table of Contents Other, page numbers in red font are revised due repagination. d. Page 9, Section 5.2 is removed in its entirety. e. Page 29, Section 12.7 and 12.7.b.(1) is revised as annotated in red font. Original BAA Notice: This solicitation is a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), HSHQDC-14-R-B0005, as contemplated in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.102(d)(2) and 35.016. A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued in this matter. This announcement does not request any white papers or proposals at this time. Solicitations (or calls) requesting white papers or proposals will be accomplished via amendments to BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005. BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005 is issued in support of Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology (S&T), Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA), Cyber Security Division (CSD), targeted research and development (R&D) projects. CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005 will be open for five years from the date publicized on the Government's Point of Entry (GPE), Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). The strategy for a five-year BAA with the ability to make calls throughout the life of the BAA will allow for quick and efficient delivery of practical R&D services to generate potential solutions for each technical topic area. Periodically during the five years, individual calls for white papers or proposals responding to the specified CSD program research and development program technical topic area will be placed (via amendment advertisement in FBO) against CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005. Each call will (1) identify specific details regarding the call technical topic area, (2) identify submission instructions in addition to those outlined in the overarching 5-yr CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005, and (3) contain a common cutoff date submissions. The call details will be such that interested and capable contractors can tailor a response and provide a submission in response to the call. CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005 should be read in its entirety by any entity considering a submission in response to any call issued against this BAA as it provides the information/details needed for entities to participate in future calls issued against this BAA. CSD BAA HSHQDC-14-R-B0005 can be downloaded in its entirety from this FBO announcement.
