Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to Carestream Health, Inc., 150 Verona Street, Rochester, NY 14608, for preventive maintenance of four (4) government-owned Carestream DRX-Revolution Mobile X-Ray Systems for the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502. This procurement is a sole source award in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing they can provide these services must submit a written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All responses to this notice are solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be emailed to Phyllis.Charles@va.gov and received by November 4, 2014, 4:00PM PDT. Information should include Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Tax Identification Number (TIN), business size in accordance with NAICS code is 334517 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, materials, transportation and resources necessary to provide technical expertise to support calibration and repair of four (4) government-owned Carestream DRX-Revolution Mobile X-Ray Systems with digital detectors. The contractor shall provide factory trained engineers from the manufacturer in the local area and include technical telephone support. (End of Statement of Work)
