- Purchase Request: 55439914, NSN: 3020-01-333-8286, Part Number: 400-040-026-101. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, please do not submit requests. The only approved source for this item is Bell Helicopter Cage 97499. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, who will like to submit a proposal on this item, must submit a complete source approval package (SAR) to DLA Aviation. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-fixed price contract. The requirement is for CLIN 0001, QTY 15 Corpus Christi, TX; FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. The required delivery is 900 days ARO. PIPPRS applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is an ARMY Critical Safety Item (CSI). A Contractor First Article Test is required for this material. This is a commercial item. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. A letter solicitation will be issued. A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). If any potential bidder would like a copy of the solicitation please contact the acquisition specialist. Sole Source per (FAR 6.302). The solicitation issue date is December 1, 2014.
