Important Information: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualified Source: PAS Technologies Inc. (4GMJ6) PAS Technologies Inc. is currently the only approved source for full repair of the subject fan blades. Sources must be qualified for the full repair in order to process subject fan blades for PWA 46 application using D-GUN technology to ensure the integrity of the part throughout the entire repair process. Qualification requirements are available for this acquisition through the Source Development Office. For further information concerning the source approval process, please contact the following office in writing: OC-ALC/BC Attn: Source Development Office 3001 Staff Drive, Ste IAG85A Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. All responsible sources meeting qualification requirements may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 10 Nov 2014 with a response date of 28 Nov 2014 The solicitation will be available for download on the release date from www.fedbizopps.gov.
