- SF1449, Solicitation Package AG-43N9-S-15-0001 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation is included with this notice. The Solicitation number is AG-43N9-S-15-0001 and is issued as a request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-75. Award will be limited to small business concerns. The NAICS code is 481212. The services will be performed out of six separate Designated Bases. The award(s) will be a fixed price with a period of performance of one base period and three, one year option periods. The USDA Forest Service, Southern region has a need for an Exclusive Use Type III helicopter to assist the National Forests, (multiple locations) with Prescribed Fire and Fire Suppression. The contractor must provide high performance Type III helicopters, pilots, mechanics, and fuel trucks to conduct aerial ignition using Premo Mark III (ping pong ball dispenser) machine. Contractor to supply water drops for the control of wildfires and in support of prescribed fires. The Contract Specialist must receive your Proposal Package by November 24, 2014 at no later than 03:30 P.M. local prevailing time. Your Proposal package must provide a contact name and number, your company name and complete address, including street, city, county, state, zip code, e-mail address, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS). The TIN must match the name of the vendor to whom the payments will be made. Please note that FAR 52.204-6 Contractor Identification Number Data Universal System (DUNS Number) and 52.204-7 System for Award Management, requires any prospective awardees to have a DUNS number and be registered in the SAMS.gov database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.
