Description: The requirement is for a self-sustaining U.S. or foreign flag non-cellular, container vessel to carry 378 TEUs of ammunition with various classes (1.1 - 1.4, 2.3S, 4.2G, and 6.1G). The vessel must have a laden draft not to exceed 8 meters, or 26.25 feet. The place/range of delivery is at the Military Ocean Terminal, Sunny Point, North Carolina and the place/range of redelivery is at the Military Ocean Terminal, Sunny Point, North Carolina. The laydays commence 10 December 2014 and cancel 10 December 2014. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. 17. Set-aside Status: N/A 18. The decision to release this solicitation on an "Unrestricted" is based on responses received from a recent, similar contract award and market knowledge. MSC's Small Business Advisor concurs with this assessment.
