- This is a Special Notice prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. This is a Notice of Intent. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number for this acquisition is NIH-OD 3558181 and is being issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) Only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated award date is October 27,2014. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812930 which has a size dollar standard of $35.5M. The National Institutes of Health, Office of the Director, Office of Logistics and Acquisitions Operations, on the behalf of National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) has a requirement for parking spaces for thirty eight (38) employees working at Democracy Plaza building in Bethesda, MD. National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) intends to obtain parking for the employees on a sole source basis from Parking Management Inc. The parking spaces located at Democracy Plaza are provided by Parking Management Inc. There are no other parking facilities within 500 feet of the Democracy Plaza facility that allows employee parking for NINR. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses submitted. Responses must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), October 27, 2014 to Tonia Ellen. All information furnished must be sent to: Ellent@od.nih.gov and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if it can meet the above specifications described herein. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please reference the announcement number on all correspondence.
