- The Utah Army National Guard Qualified Recycling Program is issuing an invitation for Bid/Spot Sales Conctract for the sale of expended small arms brass. The brass is no larger than.5 CAL, stored in wooden boxes/pallets and steel drums, and is deformed and certified in accordance with DoDI 4715.4. The net weight is approximately 40,000 pounds. The lot will not be split up. Bids will only be accepted for the entire lot. A copy of the IFB, along with accompanying Standard From 114 (Sale of Government Property - Bid Award) is available via email request to 1LT Otha Henderson at otha.b.henderson.mil@mail.mil. Interested vendors are encouraged inspect the material to obtain better understanding of its composition. The material may be viewed/inspected 27-30 October 2014 between the hours of 8am-3pm (MST); however, appointments must be made at least 24 hourse prior. Inspection is on an appointment only basis after the IFB is request and issued and may be made by contacting 1LT Doreen T. Eagan at 801-432-4447. Bids will not be discussed on site, and any binding contract will only be made by the Utah Army National Guard's Purchasing and Contracting office. Interested vendors must be in receipt of the IFB prior to submitting a bid and the final acceptance of bid will be no later than 5pm (MST) on 31 Oct 2014. Award notification is expected to be on 3 Nov 2014, and material will be picked up by purchaser within 7 working days of award notification.
