- ** This Sources Sought Supercedes W52P1JJORDAN which has an incorrect Class Code** This synopsis is a sources sought notice being used to conduct market research. The U.S. Government (USG) is seeking vendors with the capability of providing transportation and material handling equipment (MHE) services in the Kingdom of Jordan for Central Command (CENTCOM) Forward Element - Jordan. These services include, but are not limited to: line haul, heavy lift, passenger (PAX) transportation, and MHE services. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice by providing the company's capabilities of meeting the Governments requirements and to be fully mobilized within sixty (60) days of contract award. The Government anticipates award no later than March 2015, with a base year and four one-year evaluated options. The estimated contract value is $3M. Assets needed for transportation include, but are not limited to the following: 40' Flatbed Truck and Trailer, 20' Cargo Truck (Baggage Truck), Mail Truck, 70 Ton Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET), 80 Ton HET w/winch, 25 PAX Bus, 45 PAX Bus, 5k Water Truck Tanker, 10k Water Truck Tanker, Sensitive Items Cargo Truck, Reefer Trailer. Assets needed for MHE include, but are not limited to the following: Bobcat Track Loader, Backhoe w/Front Loader, Crane, Rough Terrain Container Handler, Rough Terrain Forklift (RTF) 4k, RTF 10k, RTF 15k, Variable Reach Forklift 10k, and TRK Crane Container Handler 40k. Interested candidate should provide a detailed capabilities statement showing availability of required assets and a plan to have all assets in place within 60-days after contract award. If an interested vendor cannot meet the 60-day mobilization requirement, capability statement shall include what timeframe can be accommodated and the rationale for needing the additional time. Capability statement shall include the following: company name, point of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers, email addresses, brief description of company and its capabilities to include its capability of meeting the 60-day mobilization timeline, experience areas, relevant past performance history, duns number, cage code, tax id number, as well as size category and socioeconomic status. No solicitation will be issued at this time. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal including the use of any appropriate small business programs. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary. Notice to Contractors: All contractors who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
