- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ******Amendment 0001 to correct the response date to 24 October 2014 by no later than 5:00PM EST. Also, any questions regarding the project must be received by 21 October 2014 by 5PM EST.******* THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE The work consists of the removal and repair of failing underwater fiberglass piling wraps and replace with new reinforced plastic Translucent (FRP) jackets to the North and South pile caps to the North Landing Bridge, Chesapeake, Virginia. Please see attached detailed technical specifications, bid schedule and RFQ. Quotes are due by No Later Than 5:00 PM EST October 24, 2014.
