- Description
- Solicitation Amendment 1 This project includes replacing the existing electrical service and overhead distribution system within the site. Replacement includes adding a second service and various related electrical work within the buildings and all necessary work to meet the requirements of the contract. Project site will include upgrading all overhead lines from a centrally located service meter to 6 buildings. Work will include building service panel upgrades along with service mast work. The project is located on the Moose Creek District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, at Fenn Ranger Station. Project is located in Idaho County, Idaho, in Section 23, T 32 N, R 7 E. From Kooskia, Idaho, travel 23 miles East on Highway 12 to Lowell, ID and the junction of FS Road 223. Turn right on Road 223 and travel approximately 6 miles to Fenn Ranger Station on the left. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Payment bond will be required. Estimated performance period November 5 - December 16, 2014. An organized site visit was held on October 14, 2014. Pre-bid tour notes and attendance list has been provided for contractor review. Solicitation amendment was posted on Monday, October 20 to address changes required to the specifications and provide contractors with additional information regarding the work required by Idaho County Light and Power to modify the existing electrical service. Contractors shall formally acknowledge this material amendment in their quotation.
