- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to negotiate and issue a sole source award to lease parking spaces located in the building of the CFTC Headquarters at 1155 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC. The current parking spaces available are located on the building and are managed by Laz Parking. The contractor is the only source that can provide the service. The purchase order will be for a period of performance of one (1) year, 11/1/2014 through 10/31/2015. Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer hereby determines that circumstances of the procurement deem only one source reasonably available to fulfill CFTC's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses must be received by October 15, 2014 at 3PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). All responses must be in writing and can be sent via email to sowens@cftc.gov. No phone calls will be accepted.
