- Mail Folder Inserter Machine Requirements Request for Information This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Request for Quotes (RFQ). Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback concerning its submission other than acknowledgement of receipt - IF the submitter requests a request for acknowledgement. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is not seeking proposals at this time. Additionally, the Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this RFI. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated in response to this RFI. Note that responses should not take the form of a proposal and will not be understood as such. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Background The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is a non-appropriated federal financial regulator bureau of the Department of the Treasury with approximately 3,700 permanent employees in 100 cities nationwide. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) is seeking a mail folder, inserter, and printer solution to meet the needs of the Customer Assistance Group in Houston, Texas. The mail inserter, folder, printer solution requirements are attached. Submission Requirements Plesae send responses to Rodney McNeil, Contract Specialist Email: Rodney.McNeil@occ.treas.gov Response deadline: 3 P.M. ET, October 6, 2014 Responses shall be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat formats. The email should include the following subject heading, "Response to Mail Inserter, Folder, Printer Solution RFI." Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and must be clearly marked. Respondents are encouraged to avoid use of excessive marketing lexicon, submission of fancy brochures, and other unnecessary sales literature.
