- Limited Sources Documentation The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GovConnection, Inc. located at 7503 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855 for the acquisition to assume full service responsibilities for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning at the DEA Merrifield Data Center, Merrifield, VA. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 'Simplified Acquisition Procedures.' The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The business size standard is $15 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. The closing date for submitting a capability statement is September 30, 2014, at 12:00pm Eastern Time. All submissions shall be submitted electronically to justice.parker@usdoj.gov.
