- 4TH MCD J&A EXCEPTION TO FAIR OPPORTUNITY Upon the basis of the following justification, I, as Contracting Officer, hereby approve the proposed sole source acquisition being conducted under the authority of the Exceptions to Fair Opportunity Process (FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C)).This requirement is for the continued AT&T Cradle Point services in support of the 4th Marine Corps District (MCD) Headquarters and several Recruiting Stations. These services are for 4G/LTE wireless WAN connectivity to US Marine Corps Intranet (MCRISS/Portal) and other supporting operational websites necessary to recruit. These services will be utilized in conjunction with existing hardware for this service. The performance period for this contract is a twelve month base period and a two (2) twelve month option periods. The total value for this contract including options is $333,266.40
