- PROJECT TITLE:Upgrade Catheterization Lab/Hybrid OR PROJECT NO:640-13-134 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY A.PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This construction project includes renovation of existing office spaces into a state-of-the-art hybrid operating suite, as well as upgrades to medical equipment in an existing catheterization lab procedure room. A new dedicated HVAC equipment and distribution system serving the procedure room and hybrid operating room suite will be installed. The new hybrid operating suite will include a 900 SF operating room, control room, equipment room, new staff locker room and toilets, clean supply room, patient holding bay, scrub alcove and semi-restricted hallway connecting to existing corridors. Areas of renovation with the existing cath lab suite include the procedure room, control room, scrub room, supply storage and equipment room. Installation of the new HVAC system requires construction work on the third and fourth floors, as well as the roof of Bldg 100. Installation of new medical equipment, plumbing fixtures, medical gases and HVAC equipment requires tie-ins to existing building infrastructure on the first floor, third floor, fourth floor, and roof.
