- Description
- The Connecticut (CT) Army National Guard intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (FPI), 4205 HWY 66 West, El Reno, OK 73036. Requirement is to provide office security fencing /partitions for supply areas or vault at the New Britain, CT Armory. Expansion of the same system is required. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b): Soliciting from a single source using SAP under SAT. UNICOR/FPI is the mandatory source for Federal Supply Code (FSC) 5670. UNICOR/FPI does not have a significant market share for the related FSC. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. All qualified sources must respond in writing not later than 4:00 PM (E.S.T.), September 26, 2014. Total anticipated value of this action is not to exceed $12,000.00. Contractors must have a current registration with System for Award Management (SAM) with Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.sam.gov.
