- Description
- Sources Sought & Questionnaire The requirement is for the manufacture of ICBM Reentry Vehicle Radar Range Test Simulator Logic Board Assemblies (A1 to A5) as follows: One each NSN 1190-01-242-4036NP/part number 47E529460G1 (A1), two each NSN 1190-01-242-4039NP/part number 47E529695G1 (A2), one each NSN 1190-01-242-4038NP/part number 47E529465G1 (A3), one each NSN 1190-01-242-4035NP/part number 47E529443G1 (A4) and one each NSN 1190-01-248-4857/ part number 47E527558G1 (A5). Each Logic Board assembly has a wire wrapped board design for plugging in specified IC's and other devices. The wire wrapped boards are no longer manufactured by Augat Company. These Logic Boards must use the original Augat design which is not available in the Air Force engineering files (JEDMICS). For Logic Boards A1 to A4 the Augat board is part number 8136-UG119-27 and for Logic Board A5 the Augat part number is 8136-ECL21-60TG. The contractor will be required to reverse engineer the wire wrapped board in the case that they are unable to prove to the Air Force that they have access to the original Augat design. Logic Board A1 is classified "secret former restricted data (SFRD)" therefore the contractor must have or be able to obtain this level of security clearance to complete manufacture of this part. All other Logic Boards are classified "distribution statement D or limited data rights to US and DoD contractors only". Certain subcomponents in the Logic Boards parts lists are not available from the current listed sources (cage codes) however, these have been researched and alternate suppliers are available. Manufacture of each Logic Board needs to be in strict accordance with each above listed engineering drawing and sub tier drawings/specifications.
