- Description
- Justification The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to NLETS, 1918 W. Whispering Wind Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85085. The Acquisition is for NLETS membership renewal. NLETS is unique in that it is the only national system which provides state and local law enforcement information with the capability to exchange Justice related information applications. The service plan will be provided for one DEA office. This is a “Sole Source” requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1, Justification for Other Than Full and Option Competition, a DEA “Limited Source Documentation” is attached for reference. The Government intends to issue a single, firm fixed price purchase order with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 519190 – All Other Information Services, the Small Business Size Standard is $27,500,000.00. All interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement.. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. All questions and statements of interest shall be submitted electronically to amanda.j.marsh@usdoj.gov by September 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time.
