- Synopsis Amendment Due to this requirment crossing fiscal years, the solicitation number will change from FA821714R50081 to FA821715R5000. FA8217-14-R-50081 THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not commit the U.S. Government to provide compensation for information requested nor does it commit the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation and/or award a contract. This notice does not provide any direction nor does it change any contractual obligations to sources currently under contract with the U.S. Government. The purpose of this notice is to post a draft request for proposal (RFP) and associated documents and seek feedback and comments from industry. Please review the attached documents and provide feedback to the TRST source selection team. Responses may be used in the development and refinement of all requirements documents including the evaluation criteria. To ensure your answers and comments are considered in the development of this acquisition, please submit responses by the response date indicated above. Please note that all documents released prior to the formal RFP are in draft status and are subject to change. Program Details: The Tactical Shelters, Radomes and Towers Element (AFLCMC/HBZIAC) provides worldwide mobile depot maintenance support to numerous weapon systems that are owned by all USAF Major Commands, all DoD agencies and non DoD agencies such as FAA, NASA and NOAA. This requirement is for engineering services for the use of the Tactical Shelters, Radomes and Towers Element. Individual tasks to be placed on this contract will include sustaining engineering tasks, development engineering tasks and maintenance engineering tasks. The Tactical Shelters, Radomes and Towers Element is currently developing advanced composites to replace existing shelters, radomes and towers. We are currently implementing this new technology in our products which requires new technical data creation and analysis. Because our office tracks and performs depot maintenance for shelters, radomes and towers worldwide, baseline configuration and operational support is required for these efforts. This effort will not include field repair and maintenance.
