- Redacted Limited Sources Justification The U.S. Department of Education (ED) is seeking independent verification and validation (IVV) services and program management advice and assistance for EDFacts, a program within ED's Performance Information Management Service (PIMS). The primary purpose of EDFacts is to provide business intelligence on K-12 education to ED and other stakeholders. The independent verification and validation services under this contract will span all aspects of EDFacts operations. The support contractor shall conduct verification to determine if deliverables from other contractors meet requirements. The support contractor shall also conduct validation to ensure that the deliverables being provided will enable ED to achieve its goals for EDFacts.
