- Description: SPE7L314R0150, PR 0053691225, NSN 3040-01-435-9062, Lever, Remote Control, Item is being bought in accordance with General Electric Company (07482), PN 9523M35G04 and Barnes Group Inc. (75440), PN 9523M35G04. The base quantity is 18,256 each with a 25% option for an additional quantity of 4,564 each per FAR 52.219.7 and DLAD 52.219-9017. The required delivery is 180 days This solicitation is an Unrestricted RFP (Other Than Full and Open Competition) and will be solicited per FAR part 15; DAG 5.207(d)(2)(iv). This solicitation contains Government First Article Test (FAT) requirements The solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about 10/07/2014 ; This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract for only approved sources under the authority of 10USC2304(c)(1). This is an Air Force Critical Safety Item (CSI). Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. Users not having access to the Internet may contact the DODSSP, Bldg. 4/D, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5094. Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Description, etc., are not stocked at the DODSSP. "NOTICE: This solicitation contains DLAD provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated."
