Description
Solicitation SPMYM1-14-Q-0169 The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure two 3" four 6" and eight 10" Triple Offset Butterfly Valves using MIL-PRF-32307, dated 11 September 2008 to build part # MXX406-2BI030A. The valves will be used on the USS George H.W. BUSH. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332919 (Other metal valve and pipe fitting, non-powered valves). The procurement will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001: 3" TOT VALVE, 2 EA 3" Valves, TOTS assy, w/manual gear operator 316 SS VLV W/interal seat & Navy top works, per MIL-PRF-32307 ORDERING DATA: Valves shall be 3" NPS size, Type II (Ferrous), body style B (wafer style, "long" thickness - face-to-face dimensions matching MIL-V-24624 valves), integral seat, ANSI B16.5 flange style. 1. Per Section 6.2 of MIL-PRF-32307: a. Title of Specification: MIL-PRF-32307, dtd 11 Sept 2008 b. Quantity required: 2 (two) each c. Part No: MXX406-2BI030A d. N/A e. Actuator: Manual operator f. Evidence for proof that the shaft will not be ejected in any circumstance is prints sufficiently detailed to portray the design consideration for shaft containment with an accompanying brief technical description. Format in order of preference is: PDF, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word (or equal), hard copy (8½ inches by 11 inches), Drawings of larger format, if necessary. g. Shock Test Mounting Location: Shell (Hull mounting per MIL-S-901 is also acceptable) h. ASTM-D3951 Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging i. N/A NOTE: If the Technical Requirements as specified in MIL-PRF-32307 and clarified above cannot be met, vendor shall provide a list of exceptions and the replacements to be used. CLIN 0002: 6" TOT VALVE, 4 EA 6" Valves, TOTS assy, w/manual gear operator 316 SS VLV W/interal seat & Navy top works, per MIL-PRF-32307 ORDERING DATA: Valves shall be 6" NPS size, Type II (Ferrous), body style B (wafer style, "long" thickness - face-to-face dimensions matching MIL-V-24624 valves), integral seat, ANSI B16.5 flange style. 1.
