- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. The project will consist of carpet removal and replacement, patch and paint walls in the area identified in the drawings. Contractor shall remove existing carpet in the areas identified in the drawings and prep surface. Contractor shall install new carpet tiles in the hallways and break room areas. Contractor shall install new cove base in the areas receiving new carpet tiles. Carpet must match the existing carpet in the Redwing auditorium area. In the designated Missile Hallways, the contractor shall remove the carpet from the upper most part of the walls. Contractor shall repair/patch the walls where the carpet was removed. Contractor shall paint the entire length of the hallways to match the existing tan accent color in the Red Wing Auditorium. Contractor shall repair/patch and paint the walls in the snack room/break room area to match the surrounding areas. Contractor shall remove and replace the carpet in the rooms identified in the attached drawings.
