- This notice is for informational purposes only. The 23d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source purchase order to Systems Technology, Inc. for the purchase and installation of a PARASIM V5 Parachute Simulator System for Premeditated Jump Training. The equipment being purchased is mission essential for premeditated jump training. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23d Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole source procurement of the PARASIM V5 Parachute Simulator System. All inquiries on this action can be submitted in writing (phone calls will not be accepted) by facsimile (229 257-3547) or email to the POCs: cameron.etheridge.3@us.af.mil or william.harris.27@us.af.mil, NO LATER THAN 26 SEP 14 @ 12:00 P.M. EST. This is NOT a request for Proposal and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Special Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
