- 9/22/14 A question has been asked. ?? Question ?? If I am looking at your product description section, I can see where it looks like that number is either 15,000 or 10,000 slides per year. When I look at the capacity required, in the salient characteristics, section 12, it is 22,500 slides per year. In order to avoid confusion, can you give me and the responders a finite number to base the reagent rental of the system(s) on? This will have a major impact on the final cost per test that responders can offer. ?? Answer ?? From what I know of these products and the reagents, I have seen companies submit their quotes with minimum reagent quantity orders (monthly/annually). For example: ABC, Inc can provide XX number of analyzer(s) to support a workload of up to 20,000 reagents annually (XXXX reagents per analyzer/per year). Minimum ordering requirements without incurring a monthly charge on the analyzer(s) is as follows: 10,000 reagents at price of $XX.XX per test 20,000 reagents at price of $XX.XX per test I have reworded Salient Characteristic #12 to say...with an estimated workload of up to 450 slides per week. And, I'm removing the word quote mark average quote mark as this is more descriptive of quote mark peak quote mark workloads, not average. 9/22/14 Appendix I was accidentally left off of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. It has now been added immeditely following the Salient Characteristics. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please see attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation
