- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this sources sought notice to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the services described herein. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Microbiological and Chemical Analysis of Water. REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, vehicles, containers, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to manage and perform the chemical and bacteriological tests of drinking water coming from wells, treatment plants and water supply lines located within the USA military installations in the Vicenza area: Camp Ederle, Villaggio della Pace, ASP #7, Longare, Lerino di Torri di Quartesolo, Torri Warehouses and Caserma Del Din and swimming pool water. The Government contemplates to establish a firm fixed price contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561990. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1.Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: Microbiological Water Analysis / Analisi microbiologica delle acque. 2.SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable www.dlis.dla.mil/forms/form_AC135.asp). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. The capability statement package must be sent by email to both Ms. Francesca Zotto, francesca.zotto2.ln@mail.mil, and Ms. Sebastiana Cappello, sebastiana.cappello.ln@mail.mil. Submissions must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 02 October 2014.
