- Component Breakdown for Mobile First Responder Tool Kit NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The United States Air Force, Joint Base-MDL New Jersey intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, with ADS Inc., 621 Lynnhaven Parkway STE 400, Virginia Beach, VA 23452-7448 for the purchase of a 1000 Piece Mobile First Responder Storage Solution with Accessories - Berry Compliant, Part Number SNAB9600BRF. A component breakdown is attached. Sole source is based upon the contractor being the only available source that can provide the required product. In the absence of any additional qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) which allows for sole source purchase if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. Interested concerns may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Solicitation documents are not available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination on whether to conduct a competitive procurement, based upon any responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responses/proposals to this notice must be received no later than close of business, 4:00 P.M., 24 Sep 2014, Eastern Daylight Time.
