September 13 - Amendment 1 posted - Answers to questions September 4 - Solicitation posted. Please note aggressive dates and respond accordingly. This is a pre-solicitation notice for an East Transient Alert. The 89th Maintenance Group has a requirement for East Transient Alert Services. Overall contractor responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to launch and recovery services, inspection and operation maintenance services, hazardous waste disposal, and hydraulic services. The proposed contract will be 100% small business set-aside/competitive. This service will be conducted at JB Andrews MD. Period of performance will be twelve (12) months base plus 3 twelve (12) month options and the option to extend up to six (six) months. The government intends to make a single award to the offeror that represents the best overall value considering price and technical capabilities. Solicitation No. FA2680-14-R-0010 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 488190. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 August 2014 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals shall be submitted via e-mail to teresa.a.valentine.civ@mail.mil.
