- This procurement is being performed under FAR 13 and FAR 12. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego Contracting Office intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase a uniaxial load frame alignment verification system, MTS Model 609 Alignment System, required to integrate with existing government owned MTS equipment on a sole source basis. The requirement is to include parts, installation, and training. This is being done under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). The applicable NAICS: 334519, business size 500 employees. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote will be issued on or about September 18, 2014 directly to MTS Systems Corporation. This procurement is issued as unrestricted. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by the Government. Service location is Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA 92135. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All inquires received by the closing date will be reviewed by the government. No telephone requests.
