This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 561730. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $7,500,000. This solicitation number is W912PM-14-T-0074, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. Description of Requirement: This will be a firm-fixed-price type contract for clearing and mowing for cells 1, 2, and 3 at Eagle Island in Wilmington, NC. It is a one-year base contract, with four one-year options that are to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Please see additional documentation for full specifications. Contracts shall be awarded to responsible prospective contractors only. Before award, to be determined responsible, a prospective contractor must: a. Have adequate financial resources to perform the contract, or the ability to obtain them; b. Be able to comply with the required or proposed delivery or performance schedule, taking into consideration all existing commercial and government business commitments; c.
