- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement to be used for preliminary market survey information planning purposes only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this SOURCES SOUGHT. The purpose of this SOURCES SOUGHT is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The type of solicitation will depend upon the responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. The US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service (FS), White River National Forest, Dillon Ranger District anticipates soliciting for and awarding a project on the Dillon Ranger District which will include: 1. Four (4) storage type containers, two (2) containers that are 10' X 25' and two (2) containers that are 8' X 40'. 2. All containers should have an entrance on both sides. 3. Three containers shall contain shelving for storage. The containers will be delivered to the Dillon Ranger District located at: Dillon Ranger District 680 Blue River Parkway Silverthorne, CO 80498 And remain on the Dillon RD premises for approximately (3) three years. The project is anticipated to begin in December 2014 with an anticipated completion date of December 31, 2017. The proposed project will be a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated magnitude of this contract is below $25,000.00. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is: 531130 Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under the sources sought. It is anticipated that award will be based on "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" (LTPA) to the Government. The estimated solicitation issuance date is October 2014, and the estimated proposal due date is to be determined. Offeror's response to this SOURCES SOUGHT shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information: Offeror's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Offeror's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. Pictures of storage containers inside and out, including pictures of shelving. Offeror's type of small business and Business Size (Whether HUB Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) or Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). Interested Offerors shall respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT no later than 4:00 PM (EST) 24 SEP 2014. All interested contractors must be registered in SAM.gov to be eligible for any award of a Government contract.
