- Description
- The Federal Medical Center, located in Rochester, Minnesota, requires the services of a licensed Optometrist to provide services to inmates. This solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price contract. A single award will be made to the contractor determined to represent the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The contractor will be required to provide an estimated eight sessions per week with each session being one hour in length. The term of the contract will be a base year on or about 11/01/14 to 09/30/15 and one option year 10/01/15 to 09/30/16. This solicitation is set -aside 100% for small businesses. The solicitation will be available on or about October 2, 2014, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All future information regarding this acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The estimated deadline for receipt of quotations is October 16, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621320.
