- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT W91ZLK-14-T-0694 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army- Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division 6001 Combat Drive Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846 has an emergency requirement to procure the following service: CLIN 0001: CRAC System HVAC Emergency Repair Services The intended period of performance start date for this service is: September 24th, 2014. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Compu Dynamics LLC., in accordance with FAR 6.302-2(b)(2) -- Unusual and Compelling Urgency, Delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. This firm has the capability of performing the service in as outlined in the performance work statement. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the Business Size Standard is $15M. All responses received within five (5) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Tuesday, September 23th, 2014. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
