- INDUSTRY DAY WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, 07 OCTOBER 2014. PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT TO DRAFT SOLICITATION FOR INFORMATION. THIS IS A DRAFT RFP, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS. This is a DRAFT RFP for a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) contract associated with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) entitled quote mark Joint Enterprise-Contracted Logistics and Services Support (JE-CLaSS) quote mark in support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD). Within the Department of Defense (DoD), JPEO-CBD has ongoing needs for Performance Based Logistics (PBL) sustainment and support services for the highly complex, low-density systems and equipment developed and fielded by the Joint Program Management (JPM) organizations chartered and operating within the JPEO-CBD. Used by the military services within the DoD and by various Other Government Agencies (OGAs), these systems and items of equipment provide critical force protection against Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear High Yield Explosives (CBRNE) threats, world-wide. The JPEO-CBD is the life-cycle manager for chemical and biological defense equipment and medical countermeasures. The JE-CLaSS acquisition will be conducted on the basis of a partial set-aside with two (2) suites of contract awards. One suite will be an Unrestricted Suite (full and open) and the other will be a Restricted Suite (small business partial set-aside). The Restricted Suite will have a threshold of $5 Million ($5M) or less per each year of performance. All questions and comments concerning this DRAFT RFP must be submitted in writing by Friday, September 26, 2014 at 5:00PM EST. Verbal questions/comments will not be entertained.
