Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Shooting Range Support for the Washington Field Office Procurement Office: Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Response Date/Time: Monday, September 22, 2014/10:00 am EST The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO, Washington Field Office (WAS), located in Fairfax, VA, intends to award a Purchase Order to Elite Shooting Sports, LLC, located in Manassas, VA, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this Purchase Order is to acquire mission critical firearms and defensive tactics training for the period of September 24, 2014 through September 23, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 713990. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Elite Shooting Sports, LLC is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they are the sole provider of shooting rage services for this requirement, within a 20 mile radius. Under this Purchase Order, the vendor shall provide shooting range support for up to 10 ICE Officers, for 8 hours a day, which includes but is not limited to the following: 1) on-site defense tactical training, 2) firearms certification for quarterly qualifications, 3) integrated scenario based training, 4) class room training, and 5) firearm(s) training exercises. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting ICE's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Roberta O.
