- Description
- DLA Troop Support is awarding a new contract to AvKARE, Inc. under #SPE2D0-14-D-0007. This Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) fixed price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) clauses type contract is for various Pharmaceutical products in support of the Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) Program. The contract is for eight years (one year base, with the option to extend the contract for seven (7), one-year term option periods.) Using the CEC vehicle, DLA Troop Support partners with industry to provide guaranteed access to inventory to ensure materiel availability, to provide Pharmaceutical surge, re-supply, and sustainment material to Department of Defense force during current and future military contingency operations as well as humanitarian and emergency relief efforts. Sales are not guaranteed under the CEC Program; readiness and materiel availability is the goal under this program.
