- List of required equipment items. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV intends to award a single source one time, firm fixed price purchase order for portable, handheld, and desktop radios. Authority for this sole source requirement is FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). This notice is for informational purposes only; no formal solicitation will be issued as a result of this announcement. Questions may be directed to TSgt Thomas Schaefer, Contract Specialist, at thomas.schaefer.4@us.af.mil or MSgt Flavio Ely, Contracting Officer, at flavio.ely@us.af.mil. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by solicitation closing date and time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. SOLICITATION #: NELLISAFBLMRFY14 This requirement is issued as a Notice of Intent to Single Source. NAICS: 334220 Please see the attachment "Equipment List" for a list of equipment items. Delivery Location: Nellis AFB, NV 89191 Prices shall be FOB Destination with delivery and acceptance at: Nellis AFB, NV all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations may be emailed to thomas.schaefer@us.af.mil no later than 19 September, 2014, 12:00 pm PST.
