- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following: This requirement is for the procurement of the following Biotage Isolera LS and components (see Equipment List) The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract (as prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1) to Biotage, LLC. Biotage, LLC is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the instruments. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Posting date of this requirement is 18 September, 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 24 August 2014. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This award is being made by the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground Tenant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013.
