- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, effective August 25th, 2014. The solicitation number is VA258-14-Q-0968, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business in accordance with FAR 19. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15 million. The period of performance will be 45 days after award. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
