The quote due date has been changed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Description This contract is to secure services for measuring, collecting, and analyzing soils, forest floor, roots, litter, woody debris, and wood samples from research plots located on the Lassen National Forest. This is part of a process in conducting research designed to determine the effects of canopy cover on the development of the understory and the interactions of disturbance in ponderosa pine plantations and mixed-conifer and true fir stands. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished) and incidentals to perform all work described on the research plots specified. The Government anticipates awarding one Indefinite-Delivery Requirements contract. The period of performance of the Requirements contract is five years from date of award. Work to be specified and contract performance period will be ordered via Individual Project Task Orders. The total amount of all task orders, when combined, will be less than $400,000.00. Project location will be the Lassen National Forest. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about September 12, 2014. Note: prospective awardees MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) by the responses due date of October 2, 2014 to be considered for award on this contract.
