- Description
- The building is a new construction of a structure approximately 7,703 SF. The structure shall consist of a shop space, parts storage, open administrative office space, conference room, copy/printing area, file/storage area, break area, restrooms and equipment storage. The Primary facility shall include Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) connections, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and installation and building information systems. The Supporting Facilities shall include site and building utility connections (i.e. water, sanitary and storm sewers, electrical, telephone and local area network). The paving and site improvements shall include exterior lighting, parking, and sidewalks. Additional work elements will include the demolition of several buildings, which will include the handling of hazardous materials that will require isolation and protection, workers health and safety requirements, environmental protection, testing and characterization, manifesting, removal, disposal, and transport of wastes to a licensed recycling or waste disposal facility, depending on the inspection, sampling and laboratory testing work.
