Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All labor and material to repair an elevator motor for Charleroi Lock and Dam. The elevator motor is a Dover Elevator Lift Motor 5HP, 440 Volt, 1200/400 Dual Speed, 3 Phase, 7.9 Amps. The motor shall be rebuilt with rebar rotor, including new end caps, and balanced. In addition, the AC stator shall be rewound with class H insulation. The motor housing shall be baked and dipped in Vacuum Impregnation Epoxy with 1,000 volt lead wire provided with NOMEX coating. All work performed in the rebuild of the elevator motor shall be in accordance with applicable standards and codes. The vendor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work as specified. The vendor will be responsible for picking up the elevator motor at Charleroi Lock and Dam and delivering it back to the project once the motor has been rebuilt.
